Nine people had been found dead today in two cars at the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan. Policy believes that these incidents are part of a series of shady collective pacts of suicide. First, the bodies of three men and three women about 20 years old had been found in a rented pickup truck, apparently by asphyxia with carbon monoxide after taking medicines to sleep. The pickup truck was parked in an agricultural area of Miura, close to the bay of Tokyo, affirmed the spokesman of the Policy. The asphyxia, pills and some joined writings inside of the rented pickup truck suggest that it was suicide, declared the source. Few hours later, the bodies of a man and two women, with ages between 30 and 40 years, had been discovered inside of an automobile in a farm in Higashi Izu, about one hundred kilometers to the southwest of Tokyo, in similar circumstances. In the first vehicle, one of joined notes said: “I am tired of living, I am sorry”, informed the Policy. Apparently, these two last suicides are part of a series of pacts - made generally by the Internet - that they had resulted in the death of about 50 people since October of 2004. With 24,1 annual cases of suicides for each 100 a thousand inhabitants, Japan has the biggest index of these incidents in the industrialized world, according to World-Wide Organization of the Health. Notice as this had started to be frequent in a Country where the suicide tax went up 10% in the last year and had reached the platform of 34.427 people. Obviously they are not all facts through the search of company in the web for such end. And none could say that the net is responsible for such facts, what it would be a great nonsense. Internet is a new and powerful tool at this moment to loneness and hopeless, for such young people. People who perhaps are not sensible anymore to the speech of reconstruction under a economic and military occupation and the discourse of the alienation in the work. We are speaking of a generation that if does not recognize themselves in the values of the previous generations and if don’t find any sense in a consumption vacuum in a Japan after economic bubble.
